Perinatal Counseling
Counseling
Anxiety, depression, grief and loss, infertility, relationship concerns, caregiver stress, family planning, birth trauma, past trauma and parenting adjustments are all important considerations during the perinatal period. I work with all genders and work with both the birthing and non-birthing partners. I have advanced training from Postpartum Support International in perinatal psychotherapy, and have additional training in supporting those experiencing miscarriage, infertility, and pregnancy loss. I was the clinical social worker at Intermed OBGYN prior to starting private practice and have much experience and a passion and a clinical interest in supporting individuals in this phase of life.
There is a huge need for accessible, affordable, and timely counseling for those who are pregnant, postpartum, trying to conceive, and who have experienced pregnancy loss, therefore I do my best to prioritize perinatal clients and referrals.
